Plays beautifully, nice low action. Unfortunately the preamp died and Sire where unwilling to sell me a replacement as it wasnt under warranty and they dont sell parts to the public, so Ive wired the bass passive 2 volumes and a tone control - no need for batteries anymore

The Sire pickups sound amazing passive and have a real vintage feel, adding the 2 pickups together gives a more modern sound, I think you will struggle to find a better bass for £200, the quality and build are excellent, its up there with my USA Fender bass in both sound and playability but for a fraction of the cost.
