Danage Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Hi all. I've been studying this diagram here: https://bartolini.net/wp-content/uploads/Docs/Electronics/EQs/NTMB-Mid-Switch-Configuration-Advanced.pdf I've got two position switchable midrange version utilising a push-pull on the midrange pot (as depicted in the bottom left). I get 800hz with the switch in normal position and 250hz when pulled up, bypassing the capacitor (well, bypassing it thanks to the switch and resistor setup). 250hz is too low to be practically useful I've found, or at least it is with the Q value of the preamp - it takes away too much from the bass frequencies when I cut it. I want to shift this up to around 350hz which means installing a 0.68uf cap in series when the switch is up... If I sever the jumper between the bottom two switch pins (the ones engaged when the switch is in the "up" position), and replace it with a 0.68uf cap... that would do this, yes?
