Help with tone chase!

Hey guys!

Yes, it’s another one of those tone chasing threads. Sorry about that.

Last month I discovered the band Nothing More and I completely fell in love with the bass tone.

I’ve been trying to achieve a similar sound but haven’t had much success so far. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get closer to that tone?

I know that Daniel splits his signal between a clean and a distorted path, but that alone doesn’t seem to be enough in my case (i'm a newbie in that kind of stuff).

The bass I’m currently using is a Harley Benton MB-5. I know it’s not a Music Man, but it’s the closest thing I have at the moment.
