Thicknessing Service? East Midlands area

Apologies if this is not the correct area!

 

I have a custom made bass body that id like to get planed down a few mm. I wouldn't have the news to buy my own thicknesser and my local builders merchants have all told me they only plane their own timer (understandable as I've seen horror stories with stray nails destroying blades)

 

Could anyone recommend anywhere that would offer this service? 

 

The bass in question is below, please be aware that the lighting has made some kind of optical illusion that makes it look like a well known design (in real life it is a BC rich war bastard stabby McGee shape)
