w_joe Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hi guys. I’m thinking on maybe selling my 2008 (I think) Status S2 Neck thru 5 string. I’m a little off in the market prices at the present. What do you guys think I should ask for? Cheers Quote
Mrbigstuff Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If you’re a signed up member (paid) there’s a thread called what’s it worth. Otherwise this is used by some newbies as a free ad to sell a bass. Worth a search of the for sale ads too to get an idea. One of the retailers like bass bros, bass direct or the bass gallery would give a more accurate price than I could, but I’d expect around £2/3k. w_joe Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Thank you! I’ve been a paid member in the past but not in the present I’m afraid. I’m not trying to sell it here without subscription. Just wanted a quote on the value. Hope that is not against the rules. Quote
HeadlessBassist Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I've got a more recent 2020 model S2-Classic up for sale at the moment. Because there aren't going to be any more graphite Status basses, you can regularly see them going for up to £3500 retail at the moment. A trade in would give you around £2400-£2600 at a dealer like BassBros or Bass Direct. Quote
