Status S2 5

Hi guys. I’m thinking on maybe selling my 2008 (I think) Status S2 Neck thru 5 string. I’m a little off in the market prices at the present. What do you guys think I should ask for?

If you’re a signed up member (paid) there’s a thread called what’s it worth. Otherwise this is used by some newbies as a free ad to sell a bass.

 

Worth a search of the for sale ads too to get an idea. One of the retailers like bass bros, bass direct or the bass gallery would give a more accurate price than I could, but I’d expect around £2/3k.

I've got a more recent 2020 model S2-Classic up for sale at the moment. Because there aren't going to be any more graphite Status basses, you can regularly see them going for up to £3500 retail at the moment. A trade in would give you around £2400-£2600 at a dealer like BassBros or Bass Direct.

Yes, all of the original SII shaped models were called 'S2-Classic' from the late 90's onwards.
