HX stomp current doubler - right angle options?

Hello all, I'm currently using the voodoo labs hx stomp current doubler but I'm looking for right angle cable options to prevent damage from it sticking out. I found an adapter thanks to a Reddit thread but on testing it the unit wouldn't power up. Any proven suggestions?

 

EDIT adapter was in a pack of 2. Second one worked 🤦‍♂️ thread can be closed whilst I clean the egg off my face
