Bassix handmade electric double bass. 

 

This was made for me by Bassix and is a bass in a case.

 

Made of resin and has a good feel and tone 

 

Comes complete with detachable body which resembles a standard double bass or a separate stick frame for that Avant Garde jazz look

 

Easy to transport as it fits in a keyboard gig bag so you can take on the bus or in a Mini

 

Had been gigged a bit but is in good useable condition with a just couple of marks

 

Body could be repainted in wood effect or Rockabilly flames if that’s your bag. Could also be wrapped to your favourite look

 

Will post at cost but must be insured as well

I've got the same bass with the cast DB body. I use it when i play in our Rockabilly band. I'm using Superior "Gut a Likes" from the States, low tension strings you can slap all day and sound pretty damn good.  It's all in the neck and it plays great. Pups sit under the bridge. Allen key adjust to make the bridge lower or higher. Like you say it fits easy into a keyboard case. I never bother, just put it in the van whole and carry it into the gig.

I think that's a great price for a very useable instrument. GLWTS.
