Grumpybass Posted November 9, 2022 Share Posted November 9, 2022 Hi all, My Musicman sub 4HH is quite noisy when plugged in directly with a lead, and only really on the settings where both humbucker coils are engaged (or with both humbuckers fully engaged). Fair amount of buzzing which quietens when any metal part of guitar or lead jack touched. And no such issue if using wireless ! I know the pre-amp on these is very hot but not sure that would be an issue ? Or do I need just much better shielded leads (though I’m not using rubbish leads and have tried different ones to no avail). Any help would be much appreciated.
