I had a mate's 44-60 (jazz bass basically) parked at my place for a year during lockdown. It was a lot of fun, fast neck, good intonation, plenty of punch and looked good with a blocked and bound neck. It was a shame to hand it back, if I wasn't thinning the herd I'd have made an offer on it. They have P/J stuff in the range also and I've seen them at the £600-800 mark on Gumtree and the like.
