Fender mij Black blocks and binding p bass neck and bits *DROP TO £150 POSTED* - *SOLD* £199

JUST TO CONFIRM THIS ISNT A HEADSTOCK BREAK - ITS A TINY PIECE OF WOOD NEXT TO THE NUT ON THE TOP WHERE ITS SANDED - HAS BEEN GLUED BACK SEAMLESSLY.

 

Selling a mij Fender 70s precision bass neck which needs some minor tlc.

 

I bought this as is intending on using for a project but I've decided to go rosewood instead. Specs I believe are 7.25" radius 1.625" nut with vintage frets and a shallow profile.

 

Straight and truss works. Frets barely used. Mild flame front back. Can only find one tiny surface ding in the heel where the neck meets the body.

 

The end next to the nut snapped off with a very clean break which has been glued back and sanded down smooth. You honestly cant even see the break even up close. The hairline in the side of the black binding is slightly visible up very close but I expect it won't be visible with laqeur over it. The area around will need some stain to match the grain I imagine. I'm not sure I can even capture it on my camera.

 

Again this was a super clean break and everything lined up to a fraction. The sanding to the wood is only on the front head of the neck.

 

I'm going to throw in the genuine Fender Bridge, 70s japan pickups and wiring (untested but I have zero reason to think they won't work).
