I believe that this is the first run of the American Professional Precision Bass as the serial number is from 2016. I bought it about 6 months ago as new old stock and it is in mint condition except for the usual minor swirls on the pickguard. It originally came with a mint pickguard but I have put an original Fender tort guard on it which cost £70. I didn’t like the pickup so I installed a standard Lindy Fralin boutique pickup in it which cost £140 (the original V Mod pickup will also be included). The bass weighs just under 4kg on the kitchen scales and balances perfectly when sitting or standing due to the lightweight tuners. It has a very comfortable satin neck and has the much prized 1963 P bass profile. Comes with the original Elite Fender hard case. It is set up with a low action and nearly new D’Addarrio Nickels 45 – 105.  Standard specs below.
