John Hunt Posted June 27, 2020 Share Posted June 27, 2020 I recently found a stunning ACG bass on Basschat. I read some reviews of ACG, watched a really interesting video of their shop (see below). I also read comments about the seller, Bernard Hewitt. Bernard had many favorable comments, so I decided to take the plunge and buy the bass. Bernard was helpful in every way, sending details and excellent photographs of the bass, and describing the process of shipping from the UK to California. The transaction was straight forward thanks to Bernard's help and familiarity with fund transfers, etc. When it came time to ship, Bernard arranged the whole process, set up the pick up, expertly packaged the bass and made everything go smoothly. He even found a shipping price that was much lower than I was able to find. (I'm not very good at this so really appreciated his help.) When the bass arrived it was, in fact, stunning. Not the slightest scratch. It plays beautifully. The electronics are innovative and create a fantastic palette of sound. For more on the bass, check out ACG, Scotland.
