WHAT GEAR IS IT OR WAS IT ALL DI'D? - ANY IDEAS? THANKS IN ADVANCE WHAT IS ON THE MARKET TO EMULATE I HAVE TRIED THE BASS POD BUT DONT RATE IT? I HAVE AN '84 PRECISION THROUGH AN AMPEG BA11ST WITH A BEHRINGER BDI21 AT THE MOMENT.THINKING OF TRYING SANSAMP OR A BOSS ME50B. SJA Posted September 30, 2008 Share Posted September 30, 2008 (edited) it's either a Spector NS2 (with PJ pickups) or a Fender P also with PJ setup, as that's what he was playing in pictures & videos (see the vid for "Modern love") around that time. play with a pick, steel roundwounds, both pickups on favouring the neck pickup slightly, maybe boost a bit of 2K if needed.
