It's 18mm spacing at the bridge and its currently strung B-G. I also have an E-C and it works really well both ways. The B string on it is unbelievably tight for a a 33" neck. The active electronics are the signature circuit Scott helped design, it also features an active passive switch. The bass will have a Gallery setup and new strings.
