I've played Fusion for quite a lot of years, but have never really played in a band that's interested in pushing ourselves properly. Now me and 3 other musicians have put together a group with the aim of getting out there in the world with it and having a go at building ourselves up. Now I've played a part in promoting a few bands now, but never one inside a Jazz/Fusion framework, so this post is really just to ask: [b]"Does anyone here have any insight or advice on how to go about developing the profile of a Fusion style group?"[/b] Now I know there's not exactly a booming market for it, but its as much a learning and enjoying experience as anything else, so we're just going to put as much into it as we can and see where we can go with it.
