Oscar South Posted June 11, 2012 Share Posted June 11, 2012 (edited) I play and teach in all contemporary industry styles including but not exclusive to Jazz, Folk, Rock, Pop, Country, Traditional/Ethnic, Funk, Latin, Afro, Reggae and Fusion genres. I specialise in developing a strong balance between cultivating a sophisticated musical intuition and musicality whilst applying practical theoretical and technical concepts to playing. If desired I can also teach all contemporary 'Solo Electric Bass' techniques (such as Tapping, Chordal or Harmonic playing) popularised by bassists such as Victor Wooten and Jaco Pastorius. I can additionally provide Double Bass tuition as well as highly in-depth music theory study in Contemporary and Jazz contexts. All necessary equipment is provided and a right handed bass guitar can be available for introductory lessons. Free private parking is available at the location of teaching.
