Very reluctantly I'm putting my Retrovibe Aero 1 up for sale. It was bought for me by my wife earlier this year but I've only used it a couple of times at home & once at a practise where it sounded superb. Unfortunately due to the onset of rheumatism which is affecting my hand, shoulder & elbow I've had to switch to a lighter short scale bass in the hope that I can continue to play. Don't get me wrong - it's not an exceptionally heavy bass it's just that I'm suffering at the moment if I play for any length of time (the same applies to my MIM Fender Jazz which I may also sell shortly). As you can see from the pics (links below) it is a close Aerodyne copy. They are very well constructed basses with a decent range of sounds available. If you search basschat you will find some reviews.

Specs are:

Body: Basswood, White with Black binding
Scratchplate: Black
Controls: 2 x Volume, 1 x Tone
Bridge: 4-string, chrome, top-load
Pickups: 1 x J-type, 1 x P-type
Neck: Maple, bolt-on, White with Black binding
Fretboard: Rosewood
Frets: 20
Overall length: 1160mm
Overall width: 349mm
Body thickness:36mm
Scale length:845mm (34 inches)
Width at nut: 38mm
Width at 12th fret: 56.3mm
Markers: Pearloid block markers
Tuners: Chromed open-gear type

Unfortunately I don't have a spare case but it will be wrapped carefully in bubblewrap & boxed (or you can collect from my home near Kettering or from where I work in Leicester).

These basses have received good reviews on here & it would make a great alternative to taking your expensive bass to those more dodgy gigs we get to do :).
It would also make a great beginners bass with it's thin Jazz spec neck.

Thanks for looking. Please PM me with any questions.
