I was going to sell the whole bass, but I got made an offer for the body that I couldn't refuse, so ended up parting the bass out. This has the original Fender tuners and string guide fitted and I'll include the original neck plate (with the Fender "F" logo) and screws. The neck has been refitted with a brass nut before I had the bass. When I bought the bass the frets were pretty shot and the lacquer on the edge of the neck very badly worn, so this has had a really good refret and refinish job done. The lacquer used has a tint to it, and so the wood looks a bit darker than usual, almost honey coloured. I really like it. I know what the bass was worth, what the remaining parts are worth, what I've put into this neck and what I got for the body. I've also had a good look on Ebay and on the basis of all that I'm asking £295 + shipping and insurance (should be about £20 in the UK) for the whole package.
