lanark Posted July 5, 2011 Share Posted July 5, 2011 I'm wanting to customise my amp and one easy way of doing this would be to make some kind of DIY speaker cloth with the band's name and logo on it. The combo has a metal grille screwed on, so I don't see it being a hard job to unscrew this and attach the cloth over the top. However, I don't want to use anything that might cause the sound to be muffled or distorted or (worse) cause the thing to overheat. Any suggestions? OzzyGreg Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 . You need to be careful that the cloth doesn't flap on the grill. I made a set of home hi-fi speakers one time and put cloth over the grill.
