Vintage Orange Phazer schematic needed

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me please?

I have a vintage Orange Phazer like this: http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php...PHASER.jpg.html and it uses 2 batteries.

Without spending too much time and reverse-engineering it, the two batteries appear to power different parts of the circuit rather than just adding to provide a total 18V.

I am thinking of converting it to accept an external supply and so I'd appreciate a circuit to help.

Google is not my friend in this instance.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers,
Eric.

if the 2 batteries really do power separate parts of the circuit then you can just connect both reds together from the battery clips and both blacks together and send them to the +/- of a 9V dc jack plug socket, and power the pedal with a standard 9v adapter.
