jon_kemo Posted February 17, 2011 Share Posted February 17, 2011 (edited) Up for sale is something of a rarity over here, a Peavey Millennium USA Plus Model, not to be confused with the cheaper BXP export models. These basses are made to a high specification but were discontinued by Peavey a few years ago. I bought it on a whim from eBay about 5 years ago and it's the bass that has been the longest with me but now just isn't getting the use it deserves as I feel much more at home on Fender style basses. I have only seen one other of these before, however these get a huge amount of love from the folks at Talkbass a can be seen here: [url="http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f8/peavey-millennium-usa-club-485453/"]http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f8/peavey-mi...sa-club-485453/[/url] The specification is as follows: [list] [*]Eastern Maple satin finish neck with Pau Ferro fingerboard (8" radius) [*]35" scale with 21 frets [*]Alder body with flame maple top [*]1xMM style and 1xJazz Peavey VFL active pickups [*]Active 18v 3 band preamp with mid sweep control [*]Hipshot low mass tuner with detuner on E string [*]Quadra Just Hipshot bridge with 3 way adjustable saddles [*]Through bridge and through body stringing [*]Graphtech Tusq nut [/list] Overall I would say the bass is in 7/10 condition as it does have a few dings on the body, these are all shown as best as possible in the photographs, but these obviously don't affect how the bass plays at all.
