chuliobo Posted January 11, 2011 Share Posted January 11, 2011 Hi all - up for sale is a copy of the Höfner/McCartney viola bass by the Bristol-based company Roberts guitars. I bought this at Macari's musical instruments on Charing X Rd in London in the summer but have since bought a Fender Jazz and this one is just sitting around. I don't know much about this bass, Roberts' website seems to make no mention of it. If anyone knows anything about these I'd be thankful for some info. The bass has a nice woody acoustic sound. It comes with a non-original unpadded gig bag. I prefer local pick up in London E1 but would also post this to the UK for an extra £10. You are welcome to come over and have a look.
