ian32 Posted November 19, 2010 Share Posted November 19, 2010 Overwater progress 111 5 string Custom Deluxe model manufactured on 7th Dec 2001 36" Scale Overwater soap bar pick ups Overwater 3 band Eq (I think these were John East at the time) Maple thru neck with purple heart banding Maple Fingerboard Spalled Beech front with Peruvian Mahogany Rear Main Volume, Pan, Bass Mid & Treble controls Locking Jack socket and XLR input Strung with Overwater Stainless Steel Medium gauge £1500 ono Has to go to fund the next big thing, the longest i have ever kept a Bass, mainly because no matter what I put it thru it still sounds great, even thru the PC, loads of sound options due to the amzing pre-amp, battery lasts about 3 months ( average playing time 63hrs) Can be really smooth sounding but I prefer the growl that comes from the E and B string in particular, never let me down, no hissing or crackles, just plugs in and goes.
