mikeypob Posted August 29, 2010 Share Posted August 29, 2010 (edited) using my Profet 5.1 through ashdown 410 and 210 last night and started to get crackling on bottom notes (anything on B E and A strings and loss of volume) Tried out again today and initially the cooling fan would not cut off so no sound.switched back on and same problem , however in removing cover noticed very dusty so cleaned up and also noticed crackiling occured when touching (carefully) one of the solid metal(not sure technical term) bars directly behind fan so it appears to be a loose connection.
