    3.  I was surprised to see Chas and Dave on stage with Albert Lee (and Eric Clapton in the audience, who played a few songs later in the set).  However, that was more due to my ignorance of Chas and Dave's musicianship and their wide-ranging influence.

Albert & Chas were actually in Heads, Hands & Feet together. Chas was an absolute MONSTER of a bass player and played on the original version of country boy:

It's 42mm at the nut. Quite shallow. I'm usually a Jazz guy too, but this is one of the easier P necks I've used.

BTW, the technical model name for this is a PB75US (so, a '75 reissue, hence the TV logo). Serial dates it either to 94-95, or 2006-2008.

CIJ would mean 2006-08 probably as I believe the 90s ones were MIJ? I could be wrong though.

I'm very tempted to come give it a try, I'm only just down the road. Sorry to hear the reason for the sale 😟

  4. NOW £300

£290 if sold by Wednesday 27th February

Selling my trusty EBS Proline 210 bass cab as I have recently acquired a new rig and need to free up some space. I have kept it as a backup for a while but this thing really deserves to be played more.

Bought from the original owner about 9 years ago, this cab has been the most reliable piece of gear I've ever owned. It can even boast having appeared on the one off revival of The Old Grey Whistle Test last year!

Comes with brand new corners (All 8 of them), tweeter dial knob and custom Roqsolid cover (worth £50). Also have a spare tweeter diaphragm replacement (pictured) I'll throw in for free, my much younger self thought there was an issue with it but it turned out to be my amp.

I love the sound of these cabs, super crisp and punchy. This was a great single cab solution for all gigs as a 4ohm 2x10 and sounded great with a variety of different amps (EBS, Markbass, Genz-Benz).

Welcome to come try it out in Morden SM4 (end of the northern line SW London). I'd rather collection or I can meet / deliver within reasonable distance.

    Specs:

    Configuration 2x 10" + 2"

    Frequency Response 70 - 18k Hz

    Sensitivity 99 dB

    Power Rating 400 W RMS

    Impedance 4 ohms

    Volume 63 liters

    Height 39 cm / 15"

    Width 58 cm / 23"

    Depth 44 cm / 17"

    Weight 22.3 kg / 49.2 lbs

I’m in Lancaster a bit far up North for you judging by your location 😉

Argh I was up there 10 days ago. Don't suppose you're heading down south anytime soon?

I'd still consider the trip though, been looking for a decent 80s Japanese P for a while now...
