I think with SS vs Tube, I dont care about reliability, yes its a nice plus, but i just prefer the sound of SS amps.

I personally LOVE my Rocktron Big Crush compressor, very cheap, very good and very very sturdy.

The signal chain is easy Bass > FM4 > Muff'n > DD6 > Small Stone > Rocktron Big Crush Compressor > Roctron Deep Blue Chorus > Amp.
