If this is proven technology, how come device makers don't build it into gadgets in the first place?
-
Might this actually be slightly wider than 6cm at the heel (say 61mm)?Also what is nut width?
-
Any body here heard of,use or teach with this lot ?

Im looking for one of those tools for my tuners.Anyone know where I can get one?
-
You certainly knew what it was before your winning bid.
-
Looks like Wayne knew what he was bidding on before he bid £15 because he emailed to ask.How can that be a joke bid?
-
So can anyone recommend a jazz type bass which has the narrow neck?(say 38mm ish) Peavey milestone 3s look like they have the PUP config and are on budget (£50 ebay),hows the neck?
-
One of the risks of buying blind on ebay then Still it's a nice bass anyway.
-
So,in my continued search for a bass I can actually play ,I bought an Aria Jazz off Ebay ,hoping it would have a narrower neck than my other low-budget buys. When it arrived, although perfectly ok and playable, the neck is actually about 42mm wide at the nut.
I was under the impression that a narrow neck was one of the fundamental characteristics of a jazz? -
So was once played by Eric Haydock but has since had new neck, bridge, pickups etc. Sounds like Triggers broom?
-
Main issue with the body is that someone has removed neck pickup and fitted some anonymous jazz pickup and lost the pickguard. But might the neck be worth the money?
-
I suppose if it is worth that much and if I could fit it without damaging,I could resell it later and not lose anything.I hear Kasuga was a respected brand on a par with Tokai?
-
Actually project back on hold. The shop wants £100 for the Kasuga with hacked-up body I saw,not spending that much!.Anyone got a jazz neck with a narrow and deep heel?
-
There always seem to be those pink/maple Westfields on ebay.Might look good as Black/Maple?
-
Thanks for that .I see the Duck Dunn model has it.
-
I have found a possible neck donor for my P project but it is blocked and bound .Has anyone seen this done before?
-
Would you class this as a Jazz? What are the neck dimensions?
