thankyou very much!

  2.
...and your other stuff on myspace. Brilliant.
cheers mate, thanks for the kind words!

  3.
I listened to it on my netbook so the bass didn't come through that well.

    I liked the tune itself.

I'll have a proper listen tomorrow through some decent speakers!

Good stuff and yes, I too like the raw sound of live recording :)
cheers mate, yeh like i said the bass isn't particularly interesting :)

  4. Went to the studio in December with my band, Faux Feet.

We decided to do it as a live recording instead of multitracking it, not 100% why, but i do prefer the more raw and natural sound.

The track here is 'Frame of Mind' , i already realise the bass line isn't great but i don't think this song would suit a complicated bass line!

Let me know what you think of the song as a whole!

Although, I think money isn't his only problem when it comes to keeping the woman he wants, it's still certainly measured in pounds though.
hahaha that made me laugh, you're right

  6.
I love the bassline.

For those who don't like swearing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw7ONgVHk6g
yeah i was going to put that up but i thought i'd take a risk for once in my life. Our performing arts band at college want to play this in our set :0 i have to get learning!

  7. This is really just a pop song which has far too many f words in it :)

however on close inspection its pretty fun to jam to, and the bass run in the breakdown part towards the middle is pretty crazy!

    take a listen at 2mins 45 specifically!

my band had our first band photo done after over a year of being together, i think its cool when do get shots of when your not ready because you get way more natural emotion. So do it before a gig if your walking around, and get your photographer to get some random shots

  9. This whole post has completely put me off doing it at university :) I would absolutely love to do a course on this at uni next year, but i am worried about earning money in the industry as i would have to be financially secure after uni, which i know sounds so snobby but its just my opinion :/

  10. I don't understand why people don't like Plan B, it's different and actually musical unlike alot of other rappers, jodi is pretty sick:

My band supported Rox at the sugarmill but it was only Rox, backing singers and guitarist :)

  11.
Each to their own and all that,Thats a good looking P in the linky.I am concidering taking the P plunge very soon maybe even a cheap squier later tonight off the bay just to see how I get on with a passive as its been many years since I went active.I could pop a pup in it if I like it and a pre amp if I dont although it seams to be a bit of a taboo to go for an active P?
'although it seams to be a bit of a taboo to go for an active P?' Haha i doubt that you would be able to get a massive significance in the change of sound, i don't know, i am inexperienced in these areas so don't listen to me :)

  12.
I live in a multi faith house so this time I will let you off!
hahaha! Sorry man, its not my cup of tea :) however this is probably my favourite looking one http://www.fareastguitars.co.uk/usedpb4.htm

  13. Just found this, i don't know if anyone else spotted it, looks like it'll go pretty cheap:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FENDER-STYLE-BASS-GU...V#ht_500wt_1154

    Interesting..........

  14.
reminds me of the sub i have in my car, has 1000w embossed in big letters on the side, even though its only the actual woofer which has a 1000w max rating and the actual amp is more like 250rms.
haha i know what you mean, my friends has that and he says about it a lot and i'm just like yeahhhhh but you will never ever get that

  15. I have a Peavey TNT 150 and it has done my proud playing at various gigs of various sizes ranging from playing at a very small primary school prom (yes i know, how ridiculous) to the local music venues that are NOT small. I think to be safe though 300w amps cover everything.

The reason why i got a peavey tnt 150 is because it was all i could afford and i knew it wasn't a bad combo so £80 well spent considering i got a new and improved speaker free from a sound engineer that owed my dad one :)
