I have the exact same bass, same sunburst etc. Bought it second hand in ‘88 with a hard case for about £70. Lovely bass. I don’t play it these days but maybe I should! Have huge sentimental value as I learned to play on it. I did try to research it using the serial but to no avail. I was told there was a pattern in the serial that determined the year. That would have made it late 70s from memort, although I don’t know how reliable that information was. glad there are more of these about. Even if they can be picked up for a couple of hundred quid, they’re a bargain!!!
