Whats the story on the Violin Bass in picture 1, is it a Hofner?

Heres a blast from the past, StMarys Billinge 1982 just come off stage, do the venues get any bigger than this !!!!!
The fiddle bass was gigged quite a lot in them days.

I aquired a scratchplate for the Fiddle Bass, I think it just adds a little something to the guitar.......

Just in case You were wondering, You never know he might not of seen a '62 with the covers on........

As I inherited the Hofner, I dont think I could swap it as it doesn't seem right.....

Jay its a short scale semi acoustic, believe Me theres no weight in it at all

Hi Dan, I dont frequent wiganmusic as much as I did, but like to drop in now and then. I am chilling in Costa de la Orrell. Did you catch the Haigh gig I really like the Hicks I think they have the chance to do something Big.

Wow I wouldn't know wether to play it or hang it on the wall and look at it. , its a beautiful thing.

Unfortunatley shes showing her age, and until I can find someone to bring her back to life and be able to afford it she will have to be stored away.

I inherited this Bass from My sadly deceased brother, I believe it is a '68 model. I have been using the Bass for a good while and actually gigged it in the early '80s (I was only borrowing it then).

Here she is awaiting a good clean up.
