yes ill try! so if i understand correctly, write a bassline with fingerstyle and play and rearrange things to suite slap style?

Hey folks, my band and i are diving into a punk-funk vibe with our latest tune, and we're craving a slap bassline with a thick groove. While I've nailed the technique, writer's block is hitting hard. Any tips to break through, writing normal finger style basslines arent a struggle but this is a whole diffrent world for me. Thanks a ton in advance.

I'm currently on the hunt for accurate bass tabs for the song "Gone Under" by Snarky Puppy. I've been trying to pick up the bassline, but I'm having trouble finding the right tabs online. If any of you have the bass tabs or can guide me to a reliable source, I'd be extremely grateful!

yeah but what doed the 4th eq band serve for? extra mids? and how do you get that classic raspy sound? on amp i have these settings:

Amp:
Bass: 3
Treble: 5
Mids: 2

Bass:
Bass: mid (no boost no cut) or ocasionally a bit of boost
Treble: near max, about 3/4ths
Mids: maxed

what are your favourite sounds you can make with a bongo and what are the presets?

I rock a 2008 Bongo 4h! plays brilliantly however theres a weird finish on the back of the neck. whenever you dig your nails in the finish to hard it scraps of like butter,  any ideas?

Heya lovely folk, I have an upcoming gig session on friday. they tend to play a lot of blues and other chill stuff, ive got a few basic scales but haven't been able to find much more! if any of you know some cool scales please let me know! it would be greatly appreciated!
