Hi Steve, It's great to know you're out there somewhere and there's still interest in these basses. I bought a Chieftain from an auction a couple of years ago. Serial number P.010. It was in a very sorry state but I've almost got it playable - just need to sort out the electronics and dress the frets. It's a great bass and I can't wait to get it gigging again. Thanks for all the info.
