  1.

    Hi

I've been using fodera nickel ultralights for quite some years now.

They have the perfect tension for me (I suffer from various hand problems and normal gauges alway end hurting me).

Other strings dont cut It for me.

The things is fodera strings are now made by Dr strings, and they dont even made my gauge.

But they do made the wooten pure blueses, Witch are the same gauge.

Wooten used to sponsor fodera strings, so I imagine they Will feel kinda the same.

    Has anybody tried them?

Or switched from fodera strings to the wooten strings?

    Do they have low tension?

    Thanks

  2. Hi, i bought an old model california  from a friend.

He says its a masterpiece, but i dont know, It could be a regular heavy aged model. (He bought It used from a friend of hes).

    Is there anyway to know?

I tried to write to sandberg but i got no answer.

The bass is awesome and he sold It pretty cheap, so either way its a win.

  3. Hi

I recently bought a old body style sandberg. Its and amazing instrument, but It has a balance problem due to the neck weighting more than the body. I found some hipshot usa lightweights for  a fair praize (the y form ones. I might be commiting blasphemy for not using clovers on a jazz, but its a really good deal).

The thing is, Im not a really tech Guy: there are two sizes and I dont know what size of tunners would fit, neither how to measure the hole. Does anybody know what size would fit in this particular model? Its and old jazz body type sandberg california with a jazz and a hambucker in It.

    Thanks for tour help
