Ok, to be honest, if your SEO is done right, it can only help, especially if you run a very active blog and keep it updated about shows etc....
If I may ask, how much are you paying for the hosting ?

Do you have any statistics on if it is getting visits or not? Do you receive any emails from people wanting to book your band?
Facebook is good, but you should add more than just that (Twitter, Instagram, etc).

A Modest Proposal
* Put an end to Eurocentric exceptionalism and open up the song contest to all the nations of the world
Careful, you might then also have to ask the Americans to stop calling their sports finals the "World Series".

Ugh. This has devolved into one of those vegan threads where the meat fetishists feel the need to pile in so they can tell you how much they dislike veganism and can't live without bacon sandwiches. Great, lads, you don't like Eurovision. All of the European mainland express their dislike of jellied eels and milky tea by not voting for Britain. We get it. You told us last year and the year before that and the year before that... 😉
Usually it is the other way around....

Hi All!
I'm a newbie bass player (refugee from the land of guitars).
Many years ago I started playing upright bass in school (this was a long, long time ago).
About 15 years ago I picked up Guitar.. On a whim I purchased a cheap electric bass and am finding myself loving it a LOT more than guitar.

If only life were that simple. Israel and Australia are eligible. Presumably Europe is a state of mind rather than a geographical location or political affiliation.
I think they widened the list of eligible countries as whenever a small eastern European country like Moldova won, they were unable to afford hosting the event.

Oh dear.... I'll be honest, I'm not a Eurovision fan - it's not recent, goes back to the 1970s... Some people I know are quite obsessed with it and will be having a 'watch party' for it... I didn't make myself popular when I said I didn't like it...
We're all different, so I'm fine if it floats your boat.
I am not either, however I was forced to watch the final as I was visiting a friend whose GF at the time insisted on watching the final...
It was 2006 and I loved it when the Finnish goth-monster-rock band won with Hard Rock Hallelujah, so much so I was dying with laughter...
Needless to say, his GF was not so happy...

Does a band need a website

For a hosting only? If so, that is expensive. You should look elsewhere, but beware of companies like GoDaddy (they are horrible and have all sorts of ways to fosters you off).
