I've played several of these, and my friend has one - they are incredibly versatile sound-wise, and feel lovely to play... Have a bump!

I don't think making me look like a negligent seller when that's clearly not the case is very fair.

I actually love the way it looks! Lurid green, my favourite :-) have a bump for standing out from the crowd.

Sounds like a Precision bass on the recording, but the groove is so brilliant, and there's a double bass in the video - so I'm bringing it up anyway! I'd love to hear this line on an upright...

Yolanda Charles my personal fave - attended a masterclass she gave at Tech Music Schools (when it was still in Acton!) when she had just started up her band the Deep MO - fantastic player, great singer. Loved all her playing with Paul Weller too.

Also, I defretted my jazz bass and applied 7 layers of interior grade wood varnish to the fretboard, knowing nothing about woodworking(!) and play using steel roundwounds - the fingerboard is holding up nicely, is all I know...! Took about 6 months for marks to become visible on the board - still sounds awesome and plays great after 2.5 years...
