Rockschool was highlight of the week, Henry`s cassete and book landed on my doorstep, don`t think it would work now as you have easy access to you tube and any bass tab you want a song for online, suppose its the way to go if you only want to play the things you like without going down the theory road

Hi, been playing bass on and off for 28 years now, first bass was a Gibson copy made by Kay and a 15 watt amp. Took lesons for 2 years ,jammed, joined several bands and done some studio work saw Stanley Clarke, Mark King and another hero Steve Harris late 80`s . Along came wife and after 10 years the bass ended up in the cupboard (yamaha bb1100s with frets removed) work took me over uk which didn`t give me much time to play anyway. Attended Rush concert a couple of years ago and went and bought a jazz just cause it was the same colour as Geddy`s lol but never started playing seriously again. 7 months ago i was made unemployed, no money, bills to pay and a house to keep equaled a seperation. Anyway old songs are being played along to Reelin in the Years is the favourite just now some Cream and a bit Jaco thrown in, good times!
