1. I have a number of these that I need to sell in order to fund my latest guitar - original pplan was to sell them on ebay over the year to try to make a few quid but need to sell them now.

Fender survival packs are: http://www.projectmusic.net/fender-electri...pack-2279-p.asp

I have about 10 to sell and will listen to any offers, perhaps someone has a small shop and may like to try selling them when people buy their first guitar.

Any questions please ask.

Thanks

2. I will certainly make some headway with the Joe Barden's and see where we go.
I took advice from another player and contacted Skatterbrane Pickups and looks like I will be able to get their stuff too. So if anyone is intersted let me know!

3. Thanks for all the replies! I have sent a few emails to the different companies so I'll keep you all posted on what I get back.

I may check out different string companies too - someone mentioned Jimmy Wess strings before. Are they any good?

4. Ok, sounds pretty good. Like I said before I do have a website and I'm trying to get in touch with some companies that do not trade a lot in the UK.

If I went ahead with them I'd be buying in a few at a time so just want to be sure there is a potential market for them over here (also means you would not have to pay £100 extra). Apologies if this offends anyone as 'market research' but I'd rather talk to real players rather than 'business heads' who have no idea what you guys want.

Thanks!

5. This is a bit of a random post where I need to start by admitting I have no idea about Joe Barden pickups and really hoping for some advice.

Basically I have a small site and want to have USA company based items on the site, such as Bartolini etc - stuff that isnt easily available in the UK.

I have been in touch with Joe Barden about their products but I do not know too much about them. Are they any good??

Thanks!

6. More info:

Here you go - hope this helps people a bit, sorry about before I was in a bit of a rush (cr@p on my part I know).

Like I said before its the set I have for sale thats £200 on Thomann, but I'll listen to any offers. :)

BB4CBC
Classic Bass Series, Dual Coil Humbucker.
"Classic Bass" CB series bass pickups feature an extended and more resonant frequency range. They have far more "air" and definition at the top without sacrificing lows and low mids. They are cast in epoxy to remove unwanted feedback and microphonics. CNC machined blades on all of the 4 string bass pickups listed below allow them to cover string widths from 50mm to 59mm on medium curvature fingerboards with excellent string balance. Screw Holes 1:1

7. Cheers guys! Really appreciate the feedback - the response has been more than I expected!

All in all it looks as though they are very decent pickups which is great news - like I said before I'd only read reviews on websites and you can never get too much of a view, all a bit all over the place.

I am now defo happy to sell them with the confidence that they are good pickups and now can get my advertising hat on to make sure people know I sell them all.

Thanks again!!

Adam

8. Anyone used them??

Basically I was asked by someone if I could get Bartolini pickups so looked into it and can now get all of them.

However I must be honest I haven't used them myself and have only gone on on-line reviews to get an idea about them.

Has anyone out there used them - if so what are they like? eg. sound, cost, how they compare to others.

Hope people don't mind me asking I am just trying to get an idea of what they are like to play.

Thanks

Adam

9. I've been looking at some multi rack stand and came across some 9 rack!! gutar stands (http://www.musicstandsalone.com/product/MM-AGR1009). Trouble is to get it to UK would be about £250 (ish). You reckon its worth it??

On a separte note anyone know much about Kona bass'?

Thanks!

Adam

10. are you a band who plays your own stuff or covers? I played in a band for about 3 years and we got some good success playing a festival at about 8pm in front of about 2000 people who had never heard of us and they all loved it, the best 45 mins of my life! Trouble is after that it all went downhill and we ended up playing gigs in front of 10 piss heads. After that i new it was it so we split up but kept going got a new band and now doing well mainly cus are doing a few covers. Its amazing wat difference doing a few well known covers does for you and you still get a buzz. Try it!

11. Basically I've got the new site and instead of just doing what most sites do I'm trying to do something a bit different and hopefully have something people find easier to use hence the Your Choice.

I'm trying to think of other brands/products etc I can get in touch with to try to deal with but instead of the same stuff ever other site has I'd rather get peoples suggestions on what they would actually like.

Thanks!!

Adam

12. Hi,

My name is Adam and I'm 22. I have recently set my first website, www.yourchoiceguitar.co.uk

I've been playing guitar now for about 7 years, started when I was 15, joined a band at 16 and been in bands since. Think the biggest gig I have done was Napton Festival when we played in front of about 2,500 people - prolly the best 45 minutes of my life!!

Look forward to getting to know you all!

Thanks

Adam
