Hi there, I try to tailor each lesson to the specific needs of the student, so if theory is something that you want to focus on then that would be absolutely fine. We can go as far into it as you like. When learning theory, I like to teach it in a practical/applied way in order to facilitate your playing and to give you a better understanding. Thanks for your comments guys, I'm glad that you like the music side of things :-). If you have any suggestions for songs or things to try with just a duo setting that would be cool. I'll definitely try hooking the bass and vocals up properly next time, and recording the audio separately is a good shout! Hmm might have to invest in a decent audio interface of some sort. Any suggestions? At the moment I'm just using my macbook with a zoom H2 mic plugged in :-S. Alex
