  1. Fbass Bn5 in mint condition. Price: 1950 GBP, or 2200 EUR.

So far the most natural, even sounding, most responsive bass I've played. Minor signs of use on the lacquer captured in the close-up pics.

Maple fretboard, 3 piece maple neck, Swamp ash body, natural gloss finish with black grain enhance, Black hardware, lightweight: 9 lbs (4.08kg)

Comes with its original gig bag and the leather F strap in the pic. (Ramp has been removed.)

Strung with new Dunlop super brights

    Shipping at buyer’s cost.

  2. LOL. Actually I was the one who bought the F-bass from Dennis that day. A great guy to do business with indeed. I arrived from Hungary by car that day, after he had completed the deal with binky_bass.
Dennis and his wife were really very hospitable. Thanks again Dennis for the sale, for the chat, for your patience letting me try the bass for literally hours, and trying to show me every little sign of wear, whereas I ended up with an instrument close to brand new condition :).

Smooth transaction, I can only recomend dealig with and getting to know Dennis.

  3. Thanks Gary, always nice to meet ,)

Fred, thanks for your comment, I totally agree. I honestly don't see how a handmade bolt-on Smith could ever possibly be inferior to a neck-through. Difference is in dinamics imho, as bolt-ons have more attack, while n-ts are more more compressed, and yes, the woodwork is more attractive. It's a question of taste, no difference in tone or quality. I hope nobody doubts that Chuck Rainey models are real Smiths. Also virtually no difference in price. New price of this adds up to 4,900 USD with these specs (+VAT + customs, etc.).

I hold this low price offer only until the bass I have my eyes on is still available.
