I’m selling this 2010 Fender MIM Jazz V fitted with an East UK J Retro Deluxe preamp.  The bass is in great condition - originally bought as a stopgap whilst production issues delayed my American Deluxe, I toured it lightly as a spare but for the past couple of years it’s been on loan to a guitarist friend for use in his studio.

The preamp was fitted by John East and the body was routed to move the jack socket in order to accommodate the passive tone pot of the Deluxe pre, and a battery box was added.  I also changed the original white pickguard to a red tort and fitted schaller strap locks.
