  1. Always fender, Always a Precision. I was never sold on jazzes, look..wrong, although I do like the narrowness of the neck. I think the older the better, a 60 something precision is my ultimate bass, looks and tone wise. my dads 80 something P would do...in its all black sexyness... Mmmm

EDIT! I realy like the rickenbacker styling as well...

  2. Hi all, I WANT YOUR OLD STUFF! old bits of bass/guitar, bodys, necks, hardware, bridges, p-ups, anything you have lying around since buying new ones! budding luthier who's all moneyless and too young to have a job needs his bits of instrument to fiddle with and bolt together!

I will cover the postage, but I would prefer not to do any other kinds of paying, since I can't afford anything atm haha. :)

  3. Veyy cute little bass, 30" scale, Niice thin neck contour, very playable, 20 frets, good condition, three small dings on the back and a dent on the back of one of the machine heads (can sort out close ups if you want) sounds nice, My dad bought this for me when I was just getting into bass when I was....9ish? I have got a nice new p bass now so I'm letting this one go. anyone have a son/daughter getting into playing bass? or of course yourself if you just like the feel of a short bass.

£60 plus p&p, unless you want to collect which can be arranged. :)

  4. Hey, when you say 'lots of parts', would that include a set of framed humbuckers to fit a cheap SG guitar or some gibson 3 a side machine heads? preferably something better than the original ones that come on a cheap 'vintage'? if you have both, i could swap for a funny lil shortscale encore bass?

  5. I have just upgraded to a nice new p-bass having had an encore short scale bass for a couple of years after deciding i'm going to take bass-er-ing-ing a bit more seriously...and am looking to sell on the encore. the only thing is...im not sure what its worth... anyone?? its in good condition...no chips or dings, but the finnish has some little swirly scratches.

    Photo...

    did it work?

  6. Hi everyone :) first post on here, just wanted to say hi! I have been playing about 2 years, and I play an Encore 3/4 bass, but I'm looking to upgrade I think.
