Not quite I get my train in Charing Cross every evening therefore that's a lot quicker to get too, whereas to go to Camden I have to get somewhere with Northern line and then come all the way down to get my train home.
Charing Cross / Embankment are on the Northern line. -

Then there's also TuxGuitar, which is an open source Guitar Pro clone. It can even open and save as GP files.
Hi
many thanks for that. It seems pretty straight forward.
perhaps im being a bit slow but can you save the tracks to a different hard drive or disc ?
Cheers
Matt
No, you can't. If you create a profile (free) you can save them to your site profile to load up later, or share with other JamStudio users.
There is a payed version available which has more features, not 100% sure what they are though. -
JamStudio is pretty good, and it's online too so no software to install.

Those web pages are now coming up as "not found". Has he moved hosting provider? Or just taken his page down completely?

Equally as good, if not better, and £8 cheaper with free postage
Cool, thanks. -
Any thoughts as to how these would perform as practise ear phones?

Agreed. I bought my kit at Macari's and they were very friendly and helpful. -

I've already ordered a Bass-bot t-shirt. Waiting impatiently for it to arrive.

Does anyone know of a decent shop in North London area (around Finchley)?
The Gallery is nice and all, but sometimes I really don't feel like travelling all the way to Camden -
"...it's one of those typical cheesy 80's tunes..." ???
er...I beg to differ!
I know the 80's had it's fair share of cheesy stuff - as did the 60's/70's/90's and now the noughties - but 'Broken Wings', for me, ain't one of 'em.
Come to that, I'd have to say neither is their other classic track, 'Kyrie'.
But you're certainly right that it's a simple yet effective bass line.
p.s. - IMHO
For the record, I'm an absolute sucker for 80's stuff... and I'd forgotten about Kyrie, thanks for reminding me.
NAFF!
