1. Hello all,

Looking to sell my Aguilar AG500 dual channel amp!

Very good condition, I am the only owner, and have taken very good care of it. Only thing is the AG500 has some rack rash along the top edge - see pictures. Footswitch and 3U Warwick rack bag is included with the AG500!

See pictures below:

(I have since removed those green markers - no residue.)

Looking for £500 for the AG500. Open to offers though!

No trades please, I don't play enough bass anymore, so don't need any more equipment... Hence the sale! Located in Guildford, Surrey. You're of course welcome to come and try it before you buy it. I'm also willing to deliver / meet you within a reasonable distance. I'm not sure how far 'reasonable' is in kilometres, but I'm sure we can agree on something!

Any questions / offers, fire away.

Thanks,
Chris

EDIT: GS112 NT cab is gone! Thanks to Tonci.

2. Hey guys,

Up for sale or trade is my Epiphone AJ 15-12 VSB acoustic 12 string. It's in good condition, especially considering its age; it's from about 1998. I bought it in Florence, Italy, in an antiques shop in 2007 and am selling/trading it for what I paid.

Specs
Top: spruce
Body: mahogany
Neck: mahogany, set
Fingerboard: rosewood
Inlays: dots
Scale: 648 mm
Width at nut: 43 mm
Hardware: chrome
Colour: vintage sunburst

Price: £150 - I'm willing to accept offers and partial/full trades. I'd be interested in trading for studio monitors (only passive if there is an included amp), DJ equipment and a Barge Concepts VB-jr.. Make an offer/suggestion - you never know!

To be honest, I would rather not send this guitar - I've had bad experiences sending acoustic instruments and I really don't want this one breaking; it sounds too good! I live in Guildford, but can be driven within a reasonable distance (20-25 minutes, maybe more if you have something which truly piques my interest). I'll make sure to put on some new strings for you before it reaches you.

Thanks,
Chris

Look this guy up and he's more local than a local thing found locally.
Thanks a lot for this. I'll definitely contact Steve when I get some cash together.

4.
A very big +1 for Steve - he's brilliant, honest and very reasonably priced - and he really likes chocolate HobNobs.
That's because chocolate Hobnobs are amazing. I'll remember to buy him some. :)

5. Hey guys,

I've got a valve amp which needs a general check-up along with new tubes and fixing some loose connections.

Any recommendations for shops or people in the Guildford area who can do this kind of work well, without ripping me off?

Obviously there's Anderton's, but to be honest I really don't want to have to deal with them. I've found them to be slow and expensive in the past.

Thanks,
Chris

6. Hey guys,

Up for sale is my ART Tube Channel pre-amp/compressor/limiter/overdrive/EQ. It's a 19" shallow 1U unit, so it doesn't take up much space in your rack.

It has a twin-tube mic pre, 4 bands of EQ and a compressor/limiter. The tube section sounds great and actually has a surprising amount of tones - everything from crystal clean to warm. It even produces a great overdrive. Also, there is a LED meter to show the amount of gain and compression.

It has a balanced input and output (DI looking plug) and unbalaced input and output instrument jacks on the rear panel. Also, it features two effects loops.

Before I forget, the unit features phantom power which might be quite handy for some.

It is in excellent condition, however comes with a Danish plug, but that can easily be changed. There are no power issues with using it in England.

Clips are on www.basstasters.com

My price; I want what I paid for it, so £100. That's actually an amazing price, seeing as they went for just over $500 new!

It's in Exeter, Devon.

Thanks,
Chris

7. Hey guys,

I've got an '80s Marshall Reverb 12 practice amp with headphone out. It's a 12 watt solid state amp with a 10" speaker.

Sadly the reverb is quite fickle but that didn't bother me when I bought it off Ebay since I don't use reverb anyway!

Usually these go for £30, but I honestly think that's a little steep.

So, £20 plus postage is my price. I can take cool cash, PayPal or a simple bank transfer.

It's in Exeter, Devon and you're welcome to try it.

Thanks,
Chris

8. Hey guys,

I've just bought a Big John Granny Puker, so I have no need for the Hematoma anymore - I have too many overdrives as it is! I'm sure you've all been in this situation too. :)

I don't know what these go for used, but I'm interested in a effects blend looper (BargeConcepts would be preferable, but tell me what you have) or a bass wah (not Morley - they're too big) in a trade. So I'm up for both a straight cash sale or a trade.

I'd like to think that I'm quite flexible, so tempt me with something legen... Wait for it... dary.

Thanks guys,
Chris

9.
Hi Chris,

OK, cool..will do. I guess it'll be between £10 and £14 depending on which courier is used.. Do you have any preference on which company to use?

Nik
Hey Nik,

No, I have no idea what company is best. I only just moved back to England 4 or 5 weeks ago. I expect you'll have more experience than I do!

Thanks,
Chris
