Sorted - came across an article which said a standard 9V BOSS power supply is ok to use with this.
-
Yep, did that. All it states is an MP-9 9-volt adapter.
-
I've just acquired an Akai G-Drive pedal. It did not come with a power supply and I can't find any information on the power supply spec. - other than it's 9v ( no info on polarity or output ) Can anyone give me any info please. Cheers

I used a Korg AX3000B when in a Muse tribute band and I found it very easy to use. Some of the pre-programed sounds were very useful, some not as much, but it's quite easy to tweak and alter the pre-programed sounds. However, my only critisism was that the only way to bypass the unit was to go into "tuner" mode. There may be a true bypass mode but after 2 years of using it I hadn't discovered it!

Agree with comments on SYB-5, it's virtually unusable in a live scenario, more of a "gimmick" box. For Plug-in I used a combination of octave and flanger with a bit of "dirt" on my Korg AX3000B - got pretty close.

Interparcel - was only insured for up to £50 - costs a bit more to up the insurance. There was a cheaper option for £6.99 + vat but thought I'd go for the "more expensive" one!

Just to say I got the other cab by courier ( sorted by myself which was only £8.99 + vat ) Gigged with it last night along with a lightweight 1x15 and an Eden WTX-260 and the sound was excellent - would definitely recommend this cab.

No reply to PM - Is it still for sale?

Got a Peavey 210TX extension cab - 350W continuous, 175W RMS at 4 Ohms. I need a 2x10 rated at 8 Ohms. Any trades?

When I was in a Muse Tribute I used a combination of the Korg AXB3000 with individual pedals. These were a Blowtorch, Boss ODB-3 and a Boss CEB-3. If you try to replicate exactly the sound of Time is Running Out, Hysteria, Uprising etc.. you'll end up going round in circles and spending a fortune ( I know from experience! ) I found the above pedals got me as close as I needed to the sounds, but then again it depends on the guitar and amp set-up.
I would definitely recommend the Blowtorch for Muse sounds, but I'm sure other members of this forum will recommend other pedals. Feel free to drop me a pm if you want any more advice. -
