  1. I bought this pedal to boost the volume on my 5 string when switching in a live setting from my 4 string that has pups with more gain. In truth I've used it only a handful of times and it's just been collecting dust on my pedal board, so time to move it on.

The Electro-Harmonix Nano LPB-1 Power Booster is a reissue of the original LPB-1 circuit that introduced overdrive in 1968. Put this in line before any effect to provide boost and definition. Improves the gain and saturation of your amp. Housed in a compact, die-cast box with rounded corners to save valuable pedalboard space. 9V DC power jack.

  2. On offer, my B-Series 4x10 Ampeg cabinet which I bought from new. It has not been used for a while as I have a Barefaced 4x10. It is in excellent condition with only small marks here and there - see photos - this is largely due to it being protected by a Roqsolid cover which is included in the sale.

    • 400 Watts RMS
    • 4 Ohms
    • Freq response 50Hz - 18kHz
    • (H x W x D) 25.75” x 22.75” x 17.5”

The cabinet features heavy duty recessed handles, removable casters, and are built of void free baltic birch plywood. The jackplate features two 1/4” jacks wired in parallel, allowing easy daisy chaining from one speaker to another. Each of the jacks may be used as an input or a through connection. The three position HF Horn switch allows for:

    • Full high frequency output (0 setting)
    • High frequencies reduced by 6dB (-6 setting)
    • Horn shutoff (off setting)

Collection only due to the weight.

  3. Bought a Barefaced 4x10 cab from Colin. Lovely guy, great comms, and good decaf tea maker too! Had an issue with the feet (not his fault I might add) but he kindly sorted this out with the manufacturer. Cheers Col!

  4. I'm looking to move on my Ibanez as I just don't use it anymore...

It has a single coil jazz pickup in the neck and a triple coil pickup in the bridge. The newer model does not have the single coil pickup, which is also good for resting your thumb.

It is an active bass, has a 5 way pickup select switch, volume control, bass, mid and treble controls. 24 frets, maple neck and fret board, mahogany body with a flame maple top.

I have had the frets refurbished along with a complete set up - it has a super sweet action! The bass is in very good condition with only a few dings in the body – but you have to really hunt for these – no chips. There is a bit of wear on the pickups - see pics.

Local pickup - Wymondham, Norfolk area

Mine's the Attitude Special, one of the cheaper ones but with upgrades, awesome.

Where did you get the replacement woofer pup and pick guard Matt? Just picked up a Special myself but it needs some TLC!
