Which Barefaced cab is that? I don't recognise it!

2. Hi all. I bought this new about 3 years ago but since then I've been living and working in Hong Kong. It's never been gigged, only turned on and off a few times when I've visited the UK. Therefore it's in perfect 'as new' condition, it works perfectly, and it's been kept in a soft laptop case that is included in the sale. It can be collected from Crystal Palace, South London, or you can organise a courier, or perhaps we could meet half way. I'll be in the UK for another month before returning to HK. It's a pity I have to sell it as it's a classic! Cheers, Mike *PRICE DROP* I'm now prepared to let this lovely amp go for £300, but you'll have to collect or arrange for a courier. If there are no takers after a week it'll have to be a keeper I guess!! *****SOLD SOLD SOLD*****

3. Hi,

(I've just moved this from the bass gear forum)

This is a lovely Ibanez Soundgear Gio 5-String bass. I have recorded with it a couple of times over the years, but other than a few hours of home practice it has not been used and has never even left the house! I normally play only 4-String and I just can't get on with 5!

I'll be going back to Hong Kong soon so I'm reluctantly selling. It's better that it goes to a new home.

Everything works as it should. There is a good range of sounds from the two J-type active pickups. The neck is straight, smooth and fast, the frets and fretboard have very little wear. The tuners are decent quality. Apart from a couple of very minor marks there's nothing else to report!

A £50 bargain for someone!! There's no case I'm afraid. I'd much prefer collection and I'd rather not courier it. However, if I must I'll courier for £12 extra or you could always arrange your own courier. I live in Crystal Palace, South London.

Cheers,
Mike

4. Hi all,

I've just posted this in the wrong forum, and I don't know how to move it, so here's the link:

Please have a look, it's a good buy for someone!

Cheers,
Mike

P.S. Although I'd rather not courier I'm looking into courier costs nevertheless. I could be persuaded!

Hi,
I'd prefer not to courier but I could be persuaded! I'll find out about courier costs. I've also realised that I've posted this topic in the wrong forum, and I don't know how to move it!

7. Hi,

You all know what this is. If not, see http://barefacedbass.com/product-range/compact.htm

It's a virtually new Barefaced Compact, purchased from Alex Claber last year. It has the lighter ply construction and weighs in on my bathroom scales at 26lbs. This cab sounds incredible but it sadly hasn't had any use to speak of - it has never been gigged and has never even left the home since being bought. It has only been used for a couple of hours (if that!) at home for solo practice and is therefore as good as a brand new one.

They retail at £475, but I'm looking for a quick sale at £350 cash, which might be the bargain of the century. I'll be going back to Hong Kong soon.

I really don't want to courier this if I can help it, so please collect. I'm in Crystal Palace, South London.

Better be quick!
Mike

This is for buying the Genz 1x12T from mikek if you read through to the end.

I can vouch for Pete being probably the best Basschat buyer in the world, apart from me obviously. Be aware however that when he collects he will happily talk about basses and bass gear until long after the cows come home! Only joking Pete :)

9.
That is a good price for the whole combo right there and I would love to buy the whole thing to give me a spare shuttle 6.0 head. Im after a 1x12 cab to go with my shuttle for smaller gigs instead of using my 2x12T but the pot isnt quite full enough yet to take it all right now although if someone else wanted to come in on a deal with me plus a bit for your trouble for splitting them up I would love to take the cab. Bit of a dragons den type deal I know but there you go :) Im not sure what the combo cabs would cost new though or if they are available seperate anyway?
The Shuttle 12T extension cab is available from Bass Direct for £519 although this comes with a strap handle without the brackets for housing the Shuttle head. I'm pretty sure you can't buy the brackets, or the cab with brackets, alone. I'm not really too keen on splitting the head/cab but I guess I could be persuaded, in which case I'd be asking £425 for the head and £225 for the cab. Otherwise £600 for both.
