Connected in series or parallel?
If you were running 2 x 8 ohm cabs in parallel the impedance would be 4 ohms.

As above, I'd suggest speaking to the people you bought the amp from.
Good luck -
I'm not here very often but welcome to the forum

I've got a matt blue one with a blue/white gloss torte pickguard if you need a photo?
-
There was one in Bath last year - I haven't looked but maybe there's another this year?
I think it was this one: http://www.igf.org.uk/workshops/workshop-g...p;location=Bath -

The pickguard holes are in the same places as my CIJ. My serial number is in the same grey colour but mine has Crafted In Japan underneath it; not sure if MIJ have Made In Japan written in the same place. Can we see a close up of the head stock as the truss rod end looks unusual for a Jazz unless it is a JB75-100US?
Have you had a look at http://www.fenderjapan.co.jp/fender/2007fender/jazzbass.htm -
There are also Nordstrand, Delano, Aero, Bill Lawrence, SJB-1..

Do you mean individual strand when you say cable?
-
Cheers Bod! Guidance much appreciated
How can you tell which way a cable is drawn? My scanning electron microscope is at the menders this week... -
It didn't quite make sense - I was at work and trying to remember what the cable was that I used to make the XLR leads (which having just looked were from my CDP to pre-amp).
The cable is microphone cable: http://www.connectronics.uk.com/Musiflex.htm and I also have some http://www.connectronics.uk.com/quadflex.htm Are either suitable? -
Are there requirements/ suggestions for the lead between a pre and power amp?
Is unshielded cable OK (the same that I use to make XLR leads between the pre and power amps in my hifi)? -
2.5 sq.mm per core or overall?
-
4. Casters, handles and corners are expensive - and potentially heavy.
You must be buying from a different supplier - from Blue Aran handles (medium=450g, large=575g) are about £4 and corners 50p (25g). Not sure about casters as I didn't buy any. -
The link is a generic "my items for sale" for the logged in ebay user, not your items for sale.
-
That was quick!
Now sorted with a swap
