Beatles songs are more expensive to play for radio station as they have a higher royalty percentage. It's down to pure greed of the copyright holders. Same with 60s compilations CDs, you never see Beatles tracks on them (no Rolling Stones too) because once again, the license to use them is high and they are 'ring-fenced' by different permissions of use and publication.
