1. I did a deal with Marc for his Jay Tee Jazz (trade & cash) and am very happy. Marc went of his way to make the transaction go smoothly and quickly. He's a top bloke and I would definitely recommend him and deal with Marc again.

  2. Hey Grissle, looks you spent a bit of money on time here.

As a fellow Jag player I'd be interested to know what you were wanting to get out of the mods and did you achieve it? If you had to be limited by budget or whatever to one mod, which would it have been and why?

  3. One very happy Panda here having bought Phil's Jazz 5. :)

The condition is like new (in fact much better than in some shops I've been in), Phil obviously looks after his stuff.

Even the packaging was far better than provided by factory / shop. Thanks Phil!

I'd have no hesitation dealing with Phil again.

  4. It sounds great to me, very much a Windham Hill sound. Guitar is quite Will Ackerman like. (Will started WH). I really enjoyed the bass on this, it complements and at certain points is a wonderful counter point (where the guitar is repetitive). If you don't mind I'll download to iPod to join my WH collection :)

  5. From a photographic perspective there's a couple of cardinal sins committed here. :D drummer wacking back of singer's head, halo behind singer (I know it's the cymbal the drummer is playing), some flying cards are distractions rather than add.

The band appears to be playing whilst the singer stands aloof and stiff in a somewhat condescending royal pose - ah but that's what singers do don't they :)

Having said that, the pictures are not bad, really good in fact Lighting is very well done, plenty detail retained in shadows and (most) highlights. Oops this is starting to be a photographic critique.

If the pictures convey the image the band wants to portray then you've been very successful.

Having listened to your music, which I enjoyed very much, think more dynamic for your next photo shoot. You could make the Vegas theme bigger (showgirls, neonlights, showgirls, one armed bandits, showgirls, etc,). Ok maybe just the neons, moody lighting and the singer dressed as a showgirl

just the tuppence worth of an old codger ..

  6. Have you considered a 2nd hand rack plus a Luggage Trolley and strap the rack to it?

  7.
Thanks for the kind words, here is another photo of it with the Jazz that I also fitted with Q-Tuner

I was going to put something similar along with its brother the fretless (which is my homage to the Westone Thunder ) into production, but plans changed, I may revisit it though sometime.
I wish I hadn't looked again, now for a cold shower ;)

  8.
Welcome, Panda. ;)

How does that Jaguar play and sound?
It scratches when it plays and growls lot :)

Seriously, the narrow neck and low action is great for me. It sounds good too; from a deep purr to a throaty growl. Plenty options for changing tone (maybe too many :P ).
