  3. Neck through body consists of 5 sections :
    wenge-acero-bubinga-acero-wenge
    Mahogany body wings.
    Flamed mahogany top.
Fingerboard in wenge (with splendid veins).
    Scale 34’.
    Active coolsound electronics vol-vol-low-high.
Inside the electronics compartment there is a trimmer to adjust the gain (and therefore the maximum overall volume of the instrument).
    Weight : 3,5 kg aprox.

Ideal goal for every bassist looking for a very light and ergonomic bass, Biarnel headless Scorcio series can be carried in a guitar gig bag. Lightweight, compact, and very well balanced.

    the bass is almost NEW.

Anybody know what happened to Janaid Guitars? I remember they were all over the place some years ago...the look was never my type, but then I saw some demos and thought; wow these sound very, very good! Some very good pick ups they built. Also the guy who build them was a great player.

    Good luck with your sale!

I just spoke with him recently, he is still alive hahah 😝

he told me that he is making only 2 to 3 instruments per year, he is working now with a very old black wallnut that it grows in south of spain and olive wood that has 25years old "drying time" and is totally different from the ones you can find in Italy or California, maybe because of the particular weather in there, they have a very dry summer and a lot of humdity during the winter, it coast him in the other hand a lot to find a good wood, he cuts a lot, and all the procces.. it is very delicate to find the right olive pieces that can be used in his workshop.

    Niiiice..

Excuse my ignorance... may i ask what is this block next to the bridge, what special function or purpose? Does the neck wood sandwich alignment add to overall stability?

I was wondering about the same thing hahah...

i spoke with the luthier and he told me that they were going to do another small pick up for the flamenco kick that they do by hand, while they play, like this the kick is much louder

That's definitely one of the better SC shapes I've seen. Lovely bass.

However... just a thought... the ramp (I'm presuming it's homemade?) is a bit scruffy and lets it down a bit. Maybe consider a coat of paint on the ramp, or taking it off altogether for the pics?

Hello, yes it is a lovely one.

its a ramp madr from a luthier that did for me but it was on natural wood, and it didn't look cute between the pickups so that's why I put a paint on it, and tried to make it in the same color of the pickups...

Before it looked good, but now the paint started to goes away, i guess that i have to do a paint on the ramp, or take it off!
